David Grinney: A Life of Worship Through Song
My name is David Grinney, and I am deeply honored to share my journey and music ministry with you. As a lifelong worship leader, singer, and songwriter, my heart has always been devoted to creating music that uplifts the spirit and brings people closer to God. After decades of leading worship and writing songs, I felt a divine calling to finally step into the studio and record a project that reflects my years of devotion and service. The result is my professionally produced Praise and Worship album, "You Have My Praise."
This album features a collection of original songs written in a Contemporary Christian style, each one born out of personal prayer, reflection, and experiences from a lifetime spent in worship ministry. “You Have My Praise” is more than just a musical project—it's a heartfelt offering to God and a message of hope to listeners around the world.
My roots in worship run deep. I have had the blessing of leading the High School Worship Band and the College Worship Band at our church here in Tucson, Arizona, helping to guide young hearts in praise. I’ve also regularly served in Sunday services, men’s ministry events, and Celebrate Recovery Worship gatherings. From intimate church meetings to larger ministry events, I’ve always sought to use music as a vessel for God's presence.
Since the late 1970s, I’ve been part of various praise and worship bands, each step along the way shaping my spiritual and musical growth. "You Have My Praise" represents the culmination of that journey—a testimony of faith, perseverance, and praise.
The response to the album has been truly humbling. Songs from You Have My Praise have received airplay on over 50 radio stations across 15 states in the U.S. and have reached international audiences in England, Australia, Guam, Scotland, the Philippines, and even Russia via Alaskan radio networks. The music has also found a home on numerous internet radio stations, continuing to touch lives far and wide.
