It all started at fourteen, when a guitar landed in his hands and everything changed. The gateway drug? A push from Mark Zablocki, former axe-slinger for underground legends Tar. From that point on, music was in the blood—sometimes flowing hot, sometimes fading to a flicker—but never gone.
For the next ten years, he played off and on, chasing sound through jam sessions and false starts. He connected with fellow musicians, but the dream often got tangled in egos, flakiness, and the frustrating reality that some people just don’t want to practice. The scene, for all its promise, felt like a letdown.
But he didn’t stop. Instead, he turned inward. For the past three years, he's been holed up, writing songs—stripping everything down to its rawest form. And yeah, he’ll be the first to admit it: he hates most of them. But some? Some are pretty damn good.
