Having spent years exploring music through the saxophone, keyboards, and eventually a home studio, Jim Ludwig began composing earnestly in January 2001. As an increasing number of major compositions emerged, Jim started a partnership with the accomplished jazz pianist/producer, Ben Yonas, who took the lead in arranging and charting the tunes, and preparing them for recording.
Ben Yonas, 23, who arrived to the Bay Area from London (originally from Minneapolis) less than a year ago, has quickly established himself as an up-and-coming producer. Ben has been active as a producer and pianist since he released his first album at the age of 17. Although his first love as a performer is jazz, and he has played with some of the world's finest jazz musicians, his interests as a producer are broad and allow him to fuse different genres in a unique way.
LA jazz vocalist Raya Yarbrough is a rising star who, by the tender age of 21 began to turn heads on both coasts. Raya's interpretations of both the music and the emotion of Ludwig's original melodies is astonishingly rich and mature - listeners will not be disappointed.
