Untamed: Canada’s Rising Pop Powerhouse, One Beat at a Time

They’re young, fierce, and completely untamed—meet Untamed, Canada’s freshest force in dance-pop. Made up of sisters Alithea (18) and Daniella (14) Watters and their longtime friend Kim Moffit (18), this trio is rewriting the rulebook on what it means to break into the industry. No manufactured label launch, no pre-packaged pop gimmick—just pure talent, relentless drive, and a sound that hits like a glitter-coated sonic boom.

Born out of friendship, sisterhood, and a shared passion for music, Untamed burst onto the scene with nothing but their voices, some serious hustle, and an infectious debut single, “You’re Not Gonna Score.” The track didn’t just turn heads—it charged up the charts, earning heavy rotation on Canadian pop radio and landing in the Top 5 of the coveted “Top 7 at 7.” The video lit up MuchMusic and made waves in Quebec with a French-language release, getting airplay on 24 stations and racking up requests across the province.

Their follow-up single, “Gotta Lotta Love,” is currently climbing the Canadian charts and gaining serious traction, with the music video featured on MuchMusic and the YTV Hitlist. Over in Europe, fans are already tuning in—more than 4,000 viewers have streamed their video on a popular video-on-demand site, proving Untamed’s sound travels well beyond borders.

Behind the glitter and glam, this group is built on discipline. They rehearse daily, balance university courses, tackle interviews, and spend long hours in the studio honing their craft. In fact, the trio even trained in New York City with top-tier choreographers to sharpen their stage presence—proof that their live shows are as tight and dazzling as their studio tracks.

Daniella, the youngest member, is no stranger to competition. A former competitive figure skater with dreams of becoming a sports psychologist, she brings precision, grace, and the fearless energy of the rink to the stage. She’s a trained dancer with experience in tap, jazz, ballet, and hip-hop—and she’s now adding drumming to her growing list of talents.

Alithea, the older sister and a seasoned performer since the age of 18 months, boasts a résumé packed with film, television, and commercial roles. A member of ACTRA, she’s now focusing on her music and studying arts at York University, all while continuing to evolve as a guitarist and dancer.

Kim, equal parts pop star and pilot-in-training, brings her own brand of brilliance to the group. With classical voice and piano training under her belt and a dance background that spans ballet to hip-hop, she’s also halfway to earning her pilot’s license. She currently juggles her music career while studying cultural studies at York University.

Untamed’s debut album dropped on March 12, 2002, and it’s already shaking up Canada’s pop landscape. With momentum building at home and overseas, the trio is actively seeking live performance opportunities—from supporting major tours to lighting up clubs, festivals, malls, and more. They're also open for media appearances across print, radio, and television.

Fueled by sisterhood, sharpened by hustle, and polished by pure pop instinct, Untamed isn’t just Canada’s next big thing—they're already here.
