Band Story
Julian Primeaux is a Grammy Award nominee and proud inductee into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame. A son of rock ’n’ soul and Southern roots, Julian hails from the swamps of Louisiana, delivering a sound often described as a gritty rock 'n' roll freight train barreling through a swamp blues spiritual explosion. The blues runs deep in his music, which channels both heartache and joy. As Julian puts it, “Revelation doesn’t come on the mountain—it comes way down in the valley,” and it’s there you’ll find him, preaching his electric sermons with raw conviction.
Julian's passion for the guitar began at the age of eight. By twelve, he was already performing live with seasoned confidence. Since then, he has taken his music from intimate Louisiana clubs to the bright lights of Times Square in New York, and to concert halls and major festivals across Europe.

In 2022, Julian earned his first Grammy nomination for his contribution to Corey Ledet's acclaimed album. His rising trajectory was further solidified in July 2024 when he was officially inducted into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame.
Julian has shared the stage with a long list of iconic local, national, and international artists, including Gary Clark Jr., Dr. John, Dick Dale, Reverend Horton Heat, Dax Riggs, Sonny Landreth, Ian Moore, Cold War Kids, Andy Frasco & The UN, Lazy Lester, Anders Osborne, Lil’ Nathan & The Zydeco Big Timers, and the multi–Grammy-nominated Corey Ledet, among many others.
