Bill Wright Band

Band Story
The Bill Wright Band
The Bill Wright Band (BWB), one of Colorado’s hottest acts, delivers a high-energy blend of "Old School/New School" Funk & Roll and Rockin' Blues. For over six years, BWB has been a staple of the Denver music scene, electrifying audiences across all types of venues.
Their fourth CD, Outer Limits, was recently released. Recorded in Colorado and mastered in Petaluma, California by award-winning engineer Gregg Schnitzer, the album is already building momentum. Locally, their music airs on Denver’s 99.5 The Mountain, and they’re also gaining international attention with airplay in Holland, Belgium, Australia, and on Kooba Radio in London. Their tracks have also featured on U.S.-based internet stations such as WSVNRadio, 440Music.com (Chicago), and SaveSurgeRadio.com (Pennsylvania), to name a few. Their CDs have received positive reviews, and the band is excited about what lies ahead.
Band Members
Bill Wright – Guitars, Vocals, Harmonica, Songwriting
Originally from Connecticut, Bill has called Colorado home for over two decades. A major player in the Denver music scene since the 1980s, he’s known for his fiery solos and wild stage antics — though those are just one side of his versatile talents. When he’s not melting fretboards, he’s likely enjoying cheeseburgers and fries, or cheering for his beloved Denver Broncos as a season ticket holder.
Geno Sirokman – 4-String Bass, Vocals, Songwriting, Computer Whiz
A Salida, Colorado native, Geno sharpened his chops in the deserts of Albuquerque and the hustle of Los Angeles before returning home. His funky, popping bass lines provide the perfect groove for BWB’s sound. Geno is also the band’s best dancer and proudly holds Broncos season tickets. His favorite “food”
Carl Holz – Drums, Percussion
After a brief hiatus in Outer Mongolia and a stint raising alpacas (which, regrettably, didn’t pan out), Carl is back in the groove. He’s previously played with Fredi and the Soul Shakers and done gigs with Johnny Vaughan and Derek Terrebelle. Now, he’s locking in one of the tightest rhythm sections in town — and while he’s cool, Geno still claims the “coolest” crown.
Kerry Paige – Saxophones, Wind Synth, and Woodland Noises
Raised by mutant elk in Montana (or so the story goes), Kerry has had horns in his life since birth. After relocating to Denver when his crops failed, he joined the legendary Mondo Bizzarro. A skilled teacher and horn repair expert, Kerry also performs with various local acts. He favors mac n’ cheese and admits he doesn’t really understand American football.
