Vero
Band Story
Vero is a rockin’ three-piece band founded by Marc Fargeo in 1999.
The band got to work immediately, recording a 7-track demo and playing numerous gigs.
Over time, Vero saw several guitarists and drummers come and go, until Will Sarginson auditioned for the band in April 2001.
More recordings followed, and many more people began to recognize the name Vero.
Discussions with major record labels soon began, and before long, Vero signed with Among Giants.
In November 2002, New Rising Studios oversaw the production of what was meant to be Vero’s debut album. However, the album didn’t meet the standards of either the band or the label. The search began for a new producer—someone who could capture the raw, explosive energy of a live Vero concert.
The tension and pressure of band life eventually led to both Vero’s previous guitarist and Will stepping away from the group. Marc and Dan began the search for a new drummer, and the position was eventually filled by Lee Giles.
A new producer was found, and in the summer of 2003, Vero began re-recording their album—Inborn.
