Band Story
Vero are a rockin’ three piece founded by Marc Fargeo in 1999.
The band set to work immediately with the recording of a 7-track demo and numerous gigs.
Vero saw the joining and departure of many a guitarist and drummer until Will Sarginson auditioned for the band in April, 2001.
More recordings took place and many more people began to recognise the name, ‘Vero’.
Discussions with major record labels soon began and before long Vero signed with ‘Among Giants’.
In November 2002, New Rising Studio’s saw the production of what was to be Vero’s debut album however; the album wasn’t up to the standard the band and record label wanted so the search for a new producer began; a producer who could create the exciting explosion of sound equivalent to that of a Vero concert!
The tension and pressure of band life made both Vero’s previous guitarist and Will decide to ‘hang their boots up’ and so Marc and Dan went searching for another drummer: the space was eventually filled by Lee Giles.
A new producer was found and in the summer of 2003 Vero began to re-record their album – ‘Inborn’.
