Band Story

"Beautiful" by definition means having qualities that delight the senses, excellent, wonderful and the bands personal favorite, highly enjoyable.

As much as the definition of the word "beautiful" may mean it takes on a whole new shape and form for this young Chicago band. They have a new EP and the single is called nothing less than "Beautiful Life Is". Much like the definition of the word, the songs are heartfelt, catchy, hip, erie eclectic and rockin'. This band likes to throw in, blend and mend musical stylings from across the board while still managing to know music doesn't grow on trees. It grows on souls.

The band is currently composed of four members all hailing from Chicago USA.

Shannon Richardson (Vocals & Guitars) Chris McGowan (Bass & Bck up vocals) John Park (Drums) Mark Watland (Percussions). Currently the band is recording and making noise in the Chicago music scene, gainig more fans, support and momentum quickly. This band comes together from a lot of various stylings and backgrounds while still managing to hold so much in common. They all were exposed to music very young and know they have to work hard to get where they want to go professionally. As a really hard working fresh talented group they are ready for anything. "Life likes to throw curve balls right! So hit 'em" says the bands frontman (Shannon Richardson). With an exceptionally long playlist of original songs featuring titles like "Beautiful Life Is" , "So High", "To Save The World", "Boxelder" and "Hear Us In Heaven" the bands future in music is looking excitingly brite. This eclectic, jammin' group is something you dont want to miss out on so grab a seat now while you can still catch a show for a reasonable ticket price and you might get to get up close and personal to meet the band. With influences across the board from Jack Johnson to Red Hot Chili Peppers to Led Zeppelin, DMB, Sublime and slews more the band is versatile and a rare original breed. Having just recorded a new EP in Papa Roses studio the band is really excited to get out there playing some more shows and get their new disc out to the people. Having played venues such as Martyrs, Lake Shore Theatre, Elbo Room, Penny Road Pub, and Reggies. Playing alongside of acts such as L.A. Guns, Stevie Starlite and Bo Ho Paisley they have been around the block. Collectively having played several hundred shows, they are out to make a name for themselves in a life of great music. Inspired, empowered with a future full of some really genuine music & times ahead, they press on. Continuing to self record/produce and promote a second EP while setting up a summer tour across the nation through California, Arizona, Texas, Flordia, Tennessee, Missori, Minnesota & back through sweet home Chicago. Having recently been played on college radio in California and on Fearless Radio as well as others in Chicago the band is just starting to get a feel of where they can go with all this. The band has a sound and refreshing feel like a college kid in summertime dream. Shannon Richardsons' catchy eclectic songs, the bands infectious, dynamic grooves and their charismatic playful energy together may just take them where every band dreams of going. The group is dark/light rockin'/mellow major/minor and it is a sound to see. I guarantee you if they keep going (it's just the beginning) you will be hearing them and their music long after you read this and they will only get louder. So you might as well give these guys a shot and a look right now. The band is always searching for any and all worthwhile oppotunities.
