Band Story
Unleash The Archers is a five-piece metal act that transcends the boundaries of conventional heavy music genres. Progressively incorporating elements of power metal, melodic death metal, blackened thrash, metalcore, rock, and deathcore into their sound, the band has carved out a unique niche within the Canadian metal scene.
What truly sets Unleash The Archers apart from most other North American metal bands is the originality of their sound—driven in no small part by the charismatic lead vocalist, Brittney Hayes, whose soaring, melodic vocals have the power to captivate listeners across all musical tastes.
Since their inception in 2007, the band has worked relentlessly to build a dedicated fanbase both locally and across Western and Eastern Canada. They’ve shared the stage with high-profile acts such as 3 Inches of Blood, Stratovarius, Dismember, Toxic Holocaust, Augury, and Cattle Decapitation, solidifying their reputation as a rising force in the metal underground.
In August 2009, Unleash The Archers released their debut full-length studio album, Behold The Devastation. The album was recorded at OmegaMediaCore Studios in Richmond, BC, with producer Jason Martin, and has earned notable accolades—reaching #3 on Earshot Canada’s “Loud Music” chart and #4 on Chart Attack’s “Loud” chart. The album features artwork by JP Fournier, known for his work with Dragonforce, Edguy, and Immortal.
