Band Story

Fusion, a rock band formed in early October 2005, comprised original members Kyle Batenburg (vocals/guitar), Bryce Barrett (drums), Nate Kepner (guitar/vocals), and Dan Rawson. The group quickly coalesced, writing over 25 songs within their first few weeks of practice. They promptly set their sights on recording, demonstrating a strong commitment to their music from the outset.

In 2007, Fusion actively engaged with their fan base, utilizing platforms like Facebook to share updates and mobilize support for their studio endeavors. They encouraged fans to share their content, aiming to expedite their recording process.

Over time, the band underwent lineup changes and evolved into Theriaca, featuring members Bryce Barrett (drums), Kyle Batenburg (vocals/guitar), Brennan Davies (guitar/vocals), and Nate Kepner (guitar/vocals). Theriaca's music is available on platforms like Slaps, where they have shared tracks such as "Yosemite," "I Belong Here," and "Civilized."

Theriaca's debut album, A Different Shade of Grey, showcases their development as a band and is available for streaming on various platforms, including Qobuz.

In July 2024, Theriaca performed live in the Ohio Valley, just west of Pittsburgh. Their lineup at the time included singer and guitarist Kyle Batenburg, guitarists Brennan Davies and Nate Kepner, bassist Cory Wiley, and drummer Bryce Barrett. They introduced a melody-driven brand of nu- and power-metal, performing songs from their album A Different Shade of Grey.
