As we continue making a final edits to the new website, excitement is building at 440Music. Yes the website is an important part of our future, we're also returning to the roots that inspired the station in the first place—sharing great independent... See moremusic and connecting listeners with the people who make it happen.

One of the most exciting additions is a new radio show hosted by longtime friend, acquaintance, and accomplished independent musician Rachel Walker of the Rachel Walker Trio. Rachel's program will feature indie music submitted to 440Music OnLine Radio for airplay, giving independent artists another opportunity to reach new audiences and gain exposure through online radio.

In addition to showcasing independent music from around the world, Rachel will welcome a variety of guests from every corner of the music industry. These conversations will explore the stories, experiences, and challenges that shape a life in music. Listeners will hear from performers, songwriters, producers, promoters, venue owners, engineers, and many others who help bring music to life.

When most people think about the music industry, they picture the artist standing on stage under the spotlight. The truth is that every performance represents the work of thousands of dedicated people behind the scenes. From recording studios and sound engineers to radio programmers and music marketers, each person plays a role in helping artists connect with listeners.

The new show aims to celebrate not only the music itself but also the community that supports independent artists and keeps the spirit of independent music alive. Whether you're an aspiring musician, a longtime music fan, or someone curious about how the music business really works, Rachel's conversations will offer insight, inspiration, and plenty of great music.

As I've mentioned before, I'm using AI to help with coding and to expand some of my thoughts in writing. Don't tell my mother—she taught English to 12- to 15-year-olds, and she'd probably have something to say about that. My process is simple: I write my ideas first, use AI to help me develop them, then I edit everything carefully to make sure the final words still sound like me. The goal has always been the same—to share the story of 440Music OnLine Radio in my own voice while continuing to grow and improve what we offer to independent musicians and music lovers everywhere.

Stay tuned for show announcements, guest interviews, artist features, and more as 440Music OnLine Radio and "The Cage" continue on our mission of supporting independent music, the artists, and all the people who make the music industry work.
