Radio Station Playlist Update

Today I added 28 new songs and 25 new bands to the 440Music Radio playlist, and it reminded me that supporting independent music is never just a quick download and playlist insert. Every song deserves respect. Before a track is added, I often spend... See moreclose to an hour researching the artist, the song history, and the recording details. Is it an original song or a cover? Is the metadata complete? Can I confirm the release date, label, artist information, and proper credits? I’ve listened to more independent music than most people will hear in a lifetime, but no one knows every song, and preserving independent music history means taking the time to get the details right.

In the past, every MP3 also had to be manually encoded to 128k before it could be used for streaming. Today, that process is handled through the custom-designed 440Music AutoDJ system, helping keep the radio stations organized, consistent, and ready for broadcast. 440Music Radio continues to support independent artists, new music discovery, original music, and the preservation of indie music history through carefully researched online radio playlists. Before the end of the year, I hope to be streaming my live radio show again and sharing even more independent music with listeners who still believe discovery matters.
