The Antagonist

Band Story
The Antagonist were originally formed at Woodrow Wilson High School in Long Beach, California. While the group once consisted of as many as ten members, over the years it has been condensed to the core four—members who have been part of the crew since the beginning.
Arsin, Tony Rome, Hennessee, and Ace make up the current lineup of The Antagonist. Hip-hop was, is, and always will be a major part of their identity. The group explains that being an Antagonist is not just about being part of a crew or a band—it’s a way of life. It means being "the opposition" to what mainstream society considers popular and trendy, though not necessarily being the enemy.
The Antagonist describe their style of rap as a fusion of West Coast gangsta music and heavy underground basement sounds—a unique blend they call "West Coast Grimey" music.
